A growing construction firm is scaling its infrastructure to support a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of high-impact projects. Their mission is to bring financial clarity and operational alignment to complex construction workflows through disciplined processes and forward-thinking leadership.

They’re seeking a Controller to take ownership of financial operations for a self-perform construction division. This is an on-site leadership role based in South Florida with some flexibility for relocation and limited hybrid work. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in high-accountability environments and wants to contribute to both strategic planning and day-to-day financial oversight.

You’ll join an  accounting team supporting a business unit generating multi billion in annual revenue—with a strong roadmap, direct executive access, and high visibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own financial reporting, month-end close, and audit prep for a multi billion division

• Manage and mentor a 30-person team, including 5 direct reports

• Oversee WIP, job cost, revenue recognition, and cost forecasting

• Collaborate closely with project managers and operations leaders

• Support ERP system upgrades and process modernization efforts

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of accounting experience in construction or EPC environments

• Proven P&L responsibility, preferably, $500M–$3B+

• Experience managing mid-to-large teams

• Deep familiarity with self-perform construction financials (hourly labor, field ops, etc.)

Bonus Points For:

• ERP implementation experience

• CPA
