POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Pipeline Welder will assist with the implementation of the various components of DGOC’s Pipeline
Maintenance programs.
Special focus will be placed on:
• Provide welding, cellulose (mild steel) and other construction related support to Construction
Services and Operations
• Participate in pre-job planning and staging of equipment and resources prior to executing work
activities
• Coordinate work activities and provide active control to in house personnel and third-party
contractors
• Ability to read sketch, engineered, and as built drawings
• Shop fabrication welding of piping assemblies and hydro testing
• Assist and preparation of pre-job documentation
• Ensure all work tasks and duties comply with Diversified Gas and Oil Corps. Community, Safety
and Environment policies, procedures, and related state legislation
• Provide support for emergency pipeline repairs to both natural gas and oil pipeline systems
• Other tasks as required.
• Completes special projects, other duties, and annual objectives as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in pipeline construction or related field
• Ability to maintain welding certification to DGOC standards
• Knowledge of API 1104 welding regulations
• Applicant must demonstrate ability to pass welding test per API 1104 regulations prior to hiring.
• Experience with Pipeline maintenance processes and procedures
• Experience with asset data management/ work order management systems- EAM/ MAXIMO
preferred
• Knowledge of applicable State and Federal Regulations pertaining to the Transportation of
Natural Gas by Pipeline.
• Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
• The individual must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective
equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety
glasses, life vest, respirators, earplugs, steel-toed shoes, or other protective equipment as
required by the work performed and location the work is being done
• Walking, stepping, climbing, or otherwise moving from one location on the job site to another, and
normally involves physically getting into and out of equipment through the use of vertically
mounted ladders up to and including 10 or more in height
• Visually seeing driving operations well (either naturally or with corrective lenses)
• Standing, stooping kneeling, squatting, climbing, and sitting
• Repetitive movements by feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, hands and back in performance of work
• Working at elevated heights
• Lifting 50 lb. or more objects occasionally
• Carrying 50 lb. or more objects occasionally
• Adapting to outdoor conditions and prolonged exposure to sometimes adverse weather
conditions
• Remaining calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstance
of the incident
• Exposure to working outdoors in all-weather conditions
